Scott Grimes is an American actor and singer known for his roles in television shows, including animated shows. Some of his best-known roles include Dr. Archie Morris in ER, Will McCorkle in Party of Five, Technical Sergeant Donald Malarkey in Band of Brothers, and the voice of Steve Smith in the animated series American Dad. He is also known for playing Bradley Brown in the first two Critters cult movies. Since 2017, he had been a regular cast member of the Fox science fiction comedy-drama series The Orville, playing Lieutenant Gordon Malloy.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts and raised in neighboring Dracut, he studied in Dracut Public Schools. He started early with acting, co-starring with Mickey Rooney in a made-for-TV holiday movie It Came Upon the Midnight Clear in 1984 at the age of 13. The year after that, he appeared on an episode of Twilight Zone called “Little Boy Lost.” He also sang during this time, singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” in a Bob Hope TV special in March 1986 for the King and Queen of Sweden.
