Clea DuVall has starred in many American films and TV series throughout her rich 25-year career. In 1999, she was cast as Graham Eaton for the American teen comedy film entitled But I’m a Cheerleader. Her character, Graham Eaton, was a lesbian girl struggling with her identity. Unbeknownst to the film crew, Clea Duvall was a closeted lesbian herself at the time. She has since mentioned in interviews that she felt nervous filming for the movie because she hadn’t yet come out.

Her following films became more closely related to horror and thriller genres. Clea DuVall was cast as Ginny Isiana in the 2003 American thriller film entitled Identity, which was considered a box office success. She also portrayed Jennifer Williams in the famous supernatural horror film entitled The Grudge in 2004. A year later, Clea DuVall was seen as Abigail Spencer in one of the episodes of the popular American crime drama TV series entitled CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 2012, she was cast as Cora Amburn-Lijek for the award-winning American thriller film entitled Argo, where the cast’s performance was greatly praised. It has been reported that she is currently preparing and filming for her role as Malvina Thompson in the new anthology series entitled The First Lady, which will premiere in 2023.
